Tech stack & purpose

Hayagriva is a bibliography management tool written in Rust that helps users and applications manage literature collections and citations. The project provides data structures for storing literature, supports reading and writing collections in YAML format, and can format citations and reference lists according to over 2,600 citation styles from the Citation Style Language repository. Built by Typst, Hayagriva offers interoperability with BibTeX and BibLaTeX, can be used as both a library and command-line interface, and supports querying literature items by type and metadata using a custom selector language.
