The Forge Skills Plugin is a bundled collection of AI agent skills and tools designed to help developers build, review, deploy, and maintain Atlassian Forge apps—extensions that run on the Atlassian platform as Jira issue panels, Confluence macros, dashboard gadgets, and other modules. Built by Atlassian, it includes six specialized skills (Forge App Builder, App Review, Cost Optimizer, Debugger, Connector, and Security Review) along with MCP servers providing live access to Forge documentation and the Atlassian Design System. The plugin is built for agent platforms including Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot CLI, and OpenAI Codex, and requires Node.js 22+ and Python 3 to run.
