A community driven registry service for Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
The MCP Registry is a community-driven registry service for Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, functioning as an app store for discovering and publishing MCP servers. It is built with Go for the backend, uses Kubernetes for deployment via Pulumi infrastructure-as-code, PostgreSQL for data persistence, and includes a CLI tool called mcp-publisher for server publication. The project is maintained by the Model Context Protocol community, with infrastructure supporting both local development and production deployment on Google Cloud Platform, as well as features like database backups, SSL/TLS management, and monitoring.
