Open source font project
Tektur is an open-source typeface project featuring a constructed sans-serif font with octagonal outlines and rectangular counters designed to balance geometric styling with readability. The typeface was designed and developed by Adam Jagosz and is available in three widths across six weights, with both static and variable font versions. The project uses FontLab 7 as the preferred source format alongside UFO and DesignSpace files, with Python-based build tools including TypeRig for feature exports. Development is supported on macOS and Linux systems through a Python virtual environment setup with automated build scripts.
