Tech stack & purpose

Geist is a font family created by Vercel in collaboration with Basement Studio and Andrés Briganti. The project comprises three typefaces: Geist Sans, a modern geometric sans-serif inspired by Swiss typography; Geist Mono, a monospaced typeface for code and terminals; and Geist Pixel, a display font available in five pixel-based variants. The fonts are distributed as an npm package and can be integrated with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, with builds automated via GitHub Actions and quality assurance testing performed using Fontspector.
