Tech stack & purpose

LazyCodex (also published as oh-my-openagent) is a coding agent harness built in TypeScript for complex codebases, designed to work with multiple AI models and IDEs including OpenCode, Codex, Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini. The project provides 11 agents, approximately 50–62 lifecycle hooks, 12–38 registry tools, a three-tier MCP (Model Context Protocol) system, team-mode coordination for parallel multi-agent work, and various developer tooling features including edit tools, keyword detection, and work-state tracking. The codebase is currently undergoing a significant multi-harness refactor to support multiple agent platforms, with code organized across 43 sibling packages in a workspace structure, including a core OpenCode plugin adapter, a lighter Codex CLI edition, and numerous utility and MCP packages.
