Airplane Mode is a macOS application that selectively blocks distracting websites while preserving access to documentation and educational content, enabling focused productivity without requiring air travel. The project works by toggling modifications to the system's hosts file through a Python script wrapped in a native Mac application built with Platypus. Users can customize which sites are blocked by editing simple configuration files accessible through the app's package contents, adding or removing websites based on their personal distractions.
