An agentic skills framework & software development methodology that works.
Superpowers is a software development methodology and agentic skills framework designed to guide coding agents through structured workflows from initial brainstorming through project completion. Built by Jesse Vincent and Prime Radiant, it works across multiple coding agent harnesses including Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot CLI, Codex, OpenCode, Pi, and others through a plugin system. The framework provides a library of composable skills—including test-driven development, systematic debugging, brainstorming, planning, subagent-driven development, and code review workflows—that automatically trigger at appropriate moments during development to enforce practices like TDD, YAGNI, and DRY principles. Contributions require strict adherence to guidelines including mandatory human review, disclosure of agent authoring environment, evidence of real-world problems being solved, and comprehensive testing via the project's eval harness.
