Recruiting Co-Pilot is an AI recruiting assistant built with Claude Code skills that automates the full hiring workflow for startup founders. The tool manages sourcing, outreach, scheduling, interviewing, and pipeline management while integrating with Work at a Startup, Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, and optionally Ashby for applicant tracking. Built and maintained by Y Combinator's engineering team, it uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for API access and is designed to reduce operational burden while keeping final hiring decisions in the hands of founders. The assistant handles tasks like drafting personalized outreach emails, finding calendar availability, triaging inbox and pipeline activity, and managing candidate rejections across multiple systems simultaneously.
