This is the official Ahrefs MCP Server, a Model Context Protocol server created by Ahrefs that integrates the Ahrefs API with Claude Desktop and other compatible AI assistants. The project is built on Node.js and npm, installed as an npm package that connects to Ahrefs through API keys for authentication. The repository is no longer actively maintained, as Ahrefs has released a remote MCP server that supersedes this local implementation.
