Tech stack & purpose

Riak Core is a distributed systems framework that forms the foundation of Riak, a distributed database system developed by Basho. More broadly, it serves as a toolkit for building distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant applications. The project is written in Erlang and is maintained as an open-source repository on GitHub where the community can contribute through pull requests and issue reports.
