simple HTTP client in Erlang
Hackney is an HTTP client library for Erlang that handles requests, responses, and connection management. Built in Erlang, it supports HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, and experimental HTTP/3 over QUIC, along with WebSocket and WebTransport protocols. The library features automatic connection pooling, streaming for both request and response bodies, asynchronous response handling, and secure connections with certificate verification by default. Hackney is maintained by Benoit Chesneau and requires Erlang/OTP 27 or later.
