Tech stack & purpose

Webmachine is a REST-based application layer for building web applications that adds HTTP semantic awareness on top of mochiweb's HTTP syntax management. Originally developed by Basho, the creators of Riak, the project is now maintained by a community organization. It is written in Erlang and uses rebar3 as its build system, with a rebar3 template provided to help users quickly create new webmachine applications.
