A hunky Erlang worker pool factory
Poolboy is a lightweight pooling library for Erlang that provides a generic worker pool factory with a focus on simplicity, performance, and disaster recovery. The project addresses the problem of managing pools of worker processes in Erlang applications, such as database connection pools, allowing developers to check workers in and out of the pool and execute requests against them. Built in Erlang, Poolboy is authored by Devin Torres, Andrew Thompson, and Kurt Williams, and is available under public domain or ISC license.
