Tech stack & purpose

Alinea is a modern content management system that stores content in flat files committed to a repository while providing an in-memory database for querying and full type support. Built with TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, and Bun, it offers a headless CMS architecture where content is bundled with application code for zero-network-overhead queries. The project is part of the Vercel Open Source Program and includes a web-based dashboard for content management, with support for custom backends deployable as Node.js processes or on serverless runtimes.
