Beekeeper Studio is a cross-platform SQL editor and database manager for Linux, Mac, and Windows that supports 15+ databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, SQL Server, BigQuery, Cassandra, and others. Built with Electron, Vue.js 2, and TypeScript, it features both community (GPLv3) and commercial editions, with paid features housed in a separate source-available license. The project is organized as a monorepo containing the main Electron application, a reusable UI component library called `@beekeeperstudio/ui-kit`, and supporting tools, with development using Yarn, Vite for the renderer process, and ESBuild for the main process.
