Tech stack & purpose

stylish-haskell is a code prettifier for Haskell that focuses on formatting specific elements of code without attempting a complete reformat. Built in Haskell itself and installable via Stack or Cabal, it provides features including alignment and sorting of import statements, grouping of language pragmas, removal of trailing whitespace, alignment of case branches and record fields, and optional ASCII-to-Unicode conversions. The tool is highly configurable through YAML files and integrates with popular editors including Vim, Emacs, Atom, and Visual Studio Code, as well as with the Haskell Language Server. The project was written and maintained by Jasper Van der Jeugt with contributions from multiple developers.
