🕸 Simple, robust, BitTorrent DHT implementation
Bittorrent-dht is a complete JavaScript implementation of the BitTorrent DHT (Distributed Hash Table) protocol, which enables peer discovery for trackerless torrents. Built for Node.js, the module provides peer lookup capabilities, peer announcement, and support for BEP44 arbitrary data storage in the DHT. The project is used by WebTorrent and other BitTorrent applications, and is maintained by Feross Aboukhadijeh, Mathias Buus, and WebTorrent, LLC.
