Tech stack & purpose

Hubble is a fully distributed networking and security observability platform for cloud-native workloads running on Kubernetes. Built on top of Cilium and eBPF, it enables deep visibility into service communication, network behavior, and security policies in a transparent manner without requiring application changes. Hubble provides service dependency graph discovery, comprehensive metrics and monitoring across network, DNS, HTTP, and TCP layers, and detailed flow visibility including protocol-level information. The project is part of the Cilium ecosystem and has stable core components including the Hubble CLI, Server, Metrics, and Relay, though the UI component is currently in beta.
