It enforces a consistent code style across JavaScript and JSX files without requiring developers to manage configuration files, and it can automatically fix style violations with the `standard --fix` command. The project is built for Node.js environments and is widely adopted by major organizations including Node.js, npm, GitHub, Express, Electron, MongoDB, and many others.
