Tech stack & purpose

Neuron is a note-taking and static site publishing application built around the Zettelkasten methodology, enabling users to organize plain-text markdown files with powerful linking syntax and hierarchical tagging. The project is built with Nix and supports optional integration with various text editors including Emacs, Vim, and VS Code. Created by an individual author (srid), neuron has been superseded by a successor project called Emanote, though the original repository remains available for reference.
